Harbourside Institute of Australia is a fast-growing registered vocational education provider (RTO Code: 45530 CRICOS Code: 03670D) based in Sydney CBD. HIA is currently seeking an ELICOS Teacher to join our dynamic and dedicated team. Trainers and Assessors for various BSB, CHC courses are also wanted.
ELICOS Teacher for General English from Beginners to Advanced levels, and Academic English from Level 1 to Level 4.
The ELICOS Teacher's responsibilities
- Face to face delivering ELICOS courses to students from a diverse backgrounds
- Monitor, evaluate and assess student English language progression and successful course completion
- Manage classes and students effectively
- Be well prepared for each lesson
- Record attendance and class activities covered by each student each day
- Marking of student work immediately for fast turn-around time
- Contribute to the development of curricula and learning and assessment resources
- Other duties as requested by the PEO
Selection criteria
- A suitable TESOL qualification
- Demonstrated at least two years experience of teaching General English or EAP
- a Bachelor degree or above
- Excellent written, verbal communication and computer skills
