We're The Australian Good Food Guide - a forty-five-year-old iconic Australian hospitality brand and home of the Chef Hat Awards - recognising the best chefs and restaurants around Australia. We connect millions of diners around the country with restaurants and cafés every year.
We are looking for a talented Email Marketer (Part-time basis).
In this role you will be focused on crafting evergreen campaigns to on-board, nurture, offboard and re-engage prospects and customers, as well campaigns with direct offers and promotions.
You will also work with our editorial team on communication strategies direct to our readership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and manage email marketing campaigns to drive engagement and conversions.
- Create compelling and persuasive email content that resonates with our target audience.
- Segment email lists based on customer behavior, preferences, and demographics.
- Analyze email campaign performance and provide actionable insights to improve future campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure email campaigns align with overall marketing strategy.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in email marketing.
- Conduct A/B testing to optimize email content, subject lines, and layouts.
- Ensure all email marketing activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Email Marketer or in a similar role.
- Proficient in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, SendGrid).
- Strong copywriting and editing skills.
- Familiarity with email marketing metrics and analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email design is a plus.
