Who: You love learning and collaborating on a common goal of improving all facets of brand and business growth; including Email Marketing, paid advertising, socials, website, SEO and other business growth principles. 

Whilst you aren't locked into a single lane and happy to learn and apply skills in paid ads, SEO, socials… Yada yada… What you do have is a very particular set of skills aquired in your career that can slide past spam and land in the box.

Through tested experience, you have mad respect for the role this EDM pillar plays in the overall omnichannel marketing strategy. Whilst we would love a gun in Email Marketing who's also all a weapon in paid ads, socials, website and SEO; our team is always learning so if you don't know it all, you're down to learn it… fast!

What: As a key member and keyboard warrior of our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing omnichannel marketing strategies, primarily in the domain of Email Marketing.

When: Monday-Friday. Minimum 3 days in the office with 2 days (optional) work from home. You must have an excellent at home internet connection and at home office working environment.

Where: Our office is located just off the highway in Tweed Heads (Northern NSW / Southern Gold Coast, QLD). Perfect if living on the Gold Coast around Byron Bay, Cabarita Beach, Tweed Heads and all across the Gold Coast. 

Whilst we prefer you in stones throw from the office, we're open to applications from Brisbane & Sunshine Coast.

The Nitty-Gritty Requirements

  • Experience with Email Marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Hubspot and/or Zoho (and other direct marketing platforms). We're mainly on Klaviyo FYI.
  • An attitude to own your clients, tasks and outcomes. Grabbing the bull by the horns and being accountable to actioning your tasks is a key requirement.
  • Ideally 2+ years of digital marketing and/or agency experience. To be frank, the dream is that you're a rare EDM genius, a unicorn of Email Marketing knowledge and all things digital marketing. If you're not, you show up ready to learn ridiculously fast. Don't know it all? We're down to teach and mentor you if you have the attitude and passion to learn fast. We run weekly training sessions with our team to keep a finger on the pulse with digital evolutions.
  • A degree in marketing, psychology, communications, media, business, accounting, statistics, graphic design, creative writing, administration or similar. We ultimately need someone with a perfectionist eye, copywriting wordsmithery and skills in graphic design that looks better than word art. 
  • Graphic design skills in Adobe and/or Canva is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You can command a room and face clients.
  • We are a measurable marketing agency. You nerd out on numbers, yet have a creative flare that supports your data lead decisions. 
  • Ability to think strategically and develop effective Email Marketing campaigns, automations and successful list generation strategies. Strong understanding of current Email Marketing best practices and trends is a must.
  • Copywriting like Shakespeare… but art thou funnier. You can speak slaylivin' to one generation but can talk revenue numbers with a board of directors. 
  • A clear understanding of brand tone of voice is key. Extra points if you’re a gun at spelling and grandma. As with any position at GRAVITATE, an eye for detail is key.
  • Experience building and managing frameworks for abandoned carts, welcome flows and other unique automation series.
  • You're great on a spreadsheet, handling first party data lists like a NERD 🤓
  • Knowledge and expertise in email & SMS marketing using triggers, segmentation, split testing and flow building. If you're successful in making it to the round of interviews, you will be tested on this knowledge as it's a key requirement for this role.

Two stoned birds at once if you have these extra skills:

  • E-commerce and/or agency experience.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google & Facebook Ads, Google Workspace, Zapier, Make.com and ASANA.
  • The ability to create marketing materials such as resources, graphics, copywriting and write improvements into our systems and processes.

  • Stoked clients and impressive results via increased client revenue. 
  • Each scope of work is delivered on time, of high value and within budget and scope.
  • Excellence in speaking the brand and language of GRAVITATE Digital and honouring each client with a tailored tone of voice and aligned branding.
  • Strong collaboration and communication with the marketing team and other departments. Measured by positive feedback from clients and our internal team.
  • Continual improvement in Email Marketing skills, the GRAVITATE product and improvement of our services through optimisation of our systems and processes.
