Embroidery Machine Operator

The role is permanent part time (30 hours per week)

ID Clothing is seeking an embroidery machinist to work in our busy production area in Moonah. 

The successful candidate will assist in the preparation, production and dispatch of garments to our extensive client base.

The role has many functions including:

- operating multi head Embroidery Machines (Barudan)

- basic use of specialist embroidery software (Wilcom)

- liaising with other departments within the company to maintain high standards of production

- the preparation of materials and garments for production

Prior experience using multi-head Embroidery Machines and software will be highly regarded however we are happy to train the right candidate if required.

You will require a keen eye for detail as you will be processing many different jobs, each with their own unique instructions and requirements. The ability to multi-task is also important as you will be required to perform several tasks at any given time.

The position requires you to be on your feet for the duration of the shift. The position also involves some bending and stretching to load garments onto the machines. It is therefore not recommended for people with pre-existing conditions that would prevent them from standing / bending / stretching over a shift.

Above all else, a great attitude, intelligence and the ability to fit in with my team are the most important skills you will need.
