Are You Ready for take-off? 

An exciting opportunity for an Ad Hoc Emergency Procedures Instructor is available at Alliance Airlines for Brisbane, Darwin and Cairns.
 
You will be responsible for conducting training & assessment of safety and emergency equipment and standards courses for aircrew in accordance with the relevant company and regulatory requirements. This training will occur in classroom environments and aircraft.
 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare an effective environment for training and/or assessment in accordance with relevant company and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and present Emergency Procedures Courses including Cabin Crew/Flight Crew Initial, Recurrent EP’s and Cabin Crew Conversion courses as required  by the Cabin Crew Standards Department
  • Conduct aircrew safety and Emergency Procedures proficiency assessments and complete all associated documentation for retention on aircrew training files
  • Supporting or providing remedial training to trainees and aircrew as required
  • Ensure pertinent knowledge and skills maintained to retain instructor approval
  • Actively participate in safety reporting system (iQSMS) to identify and report hazards in relation to the training environment
  • In consultation with Emergency Procedures Standards Lead, ensure training facilities, equipment and aids are maintained to meet compliance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring all trainees and aircrew are assessed and certified in accordance with published company documentation and procedures
  • In consultation with Emergency Procedures Standards Lead, deliver training material using a range of media
  • Assist the Cabin Standards Team in other training activities and facilitation.
  • Must be able to continue to operate as Cabin Manager as required
  • Must be endorsed on both the E190 and Fokker Fleet

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Ability to Instruct in a classroom environment.
  • Effective report writing
  • Possess sound knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and an understanding of policy and company procedures
  • Intermediate computer (Office 365) skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in small team environment.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to monitor and check information to ensure minimal errors, while organizing time and resources efficiently
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

QUALIFICATION

  • Background in training and/or a relevant training qualification an advantage
  • Previous approval to conduct proficiency tests with the company or another operator
  • Dual endorsed on E190 and Fokker 100/70
