The Role
Reporting to the Coordinator Project Delivery Grants and based in Windsor, the purpose of this position is to provide technical supervision in the delivery of surveillance and inspection of the WestInvest Program of works, while being responsible for minimising the technical and quality risks in delivering projects.
Working in conjunction with Project Managers on each project to monitor contractor performance, establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders and achieving results for Council on behalf of the community.
About You
You will have outstanding knowledge and experience in construction techniques, methodologies and principles. You will have the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and organisational settings with strong time management skills. You will have a proactive approach to problem-solving negotiation and conflict resolution.
Essential Criteria
- Relevant Tertiary Education/Qualification or demonstrated experience
- Experience in applying legal, policy and organisation guidelines and procedures relating to project and contract administration
- Demonstrated experience in record management
- Demonstrated experience with monitoring contract administration processes
- Experience in completing tasks within set budgets, timeframes and standards
- Class C Drivers Licence
- WHS General Induction for Construction Work in NSW
