We are currently seeking passionate, and experienced ECC Veterinarians who are ready to take the next step in their career.
This role offers a diverse and dynamic environment where you can expand your knowledge and skills. With the guidance of renowned ECC Specialist Dr Liam Donaldson (DACVECC) and a team of experienced registrars and specialists in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, Dentistry, and Anaesthesia, you will have the opportunity to handle complex cases that require critical care and multidisciplinary management.
As an ECC Veterinarian, you may encounter exciting cases such as patients requiring mechanical ventilation due to elapid snake envenomation, septic cases needing extensive monitoring and instrumentation, and post-operative multi-disciplinary cases requiring ICU referral. We are committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and offer monthly morbidity and mortality rounds as well as ECC journal club discussions. Additionally, as a Greencross employee, you will enjoy numerous continuing education benefits outlined below.
Working in our Emergency and Critical Care team, you will have a flexible roster that supports shift work, ensuring you have ample time to recover and enjoy your days off.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will play a vital role in shaping future veterinarians through on-the-floor training to DVM students from the University of Melbourne. You will also contribute significantly to the training of our Greencross Vet Hospital ECC interns as we establish our Greencross Vet Hospital ECC Internship program.
