HR Partners by Randstad has an opportunity for an Employee Relations Advisor to join our client site in Noosa.

- Provide Employee Relations support and advice to leaders within the business including timely,practical, and business-oriented advice on diverse ER issues, with the intent to maintain positive working relationships between the organisation and employees.
- Manage a diverse range of Employee Relations cases with varying difficulties, working across issues such as workplace grievances, underperformance and disciplinary matters ensuring efficient and professional resolution.
- Ensure Employee Relations matters are managed in accordance with policy, guidelines, and practices to ensure procedural fairness and natural justice.
- Coach and guide leaders to build their knowledge and competency in Employee Relations issues, investigation processes, outcome determinations, compliance and risk mitigation, and to support the efficient and professional resolution of matters.
- Liaise with industrial unions and other external bodies to prevent and manage ER matters as required.
- Work as a collaborative member of the People and Culture team to deliver an educational approach to People and Culture services to build understanding and capability of leaders and employees.
About the individual:
- Demonstrated experience as an ER / IR case manager, managing end to end ER matters, including drafting correspondence and conducting workplace investigations.
- Strong understanding of relevant workplace legislation, regulations, awards and enterprise agreements with experience providing specialist advice on these to a range of stakeholders in a similar work environment.
- Exposure to formal proceedings involving Employees, IR Commission, Unions or other external bodies/parties.
- Ability to build strong, productive relationships with various stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex and technical Employee Relations matters in clear, accessible language.
- Strong influencing and conflict resolution skills with the proven ability to manage sensitive people issues and negotiate successful outcomes for the organisation.
- A collaborative team player with a down-to-earth working style and a commitment to continuous Improvement.
- Degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Employment Relations or related discipline
