Our ClientAn iconic organisation, based in Perth’s Northern suburbs with an opening for a seasoned Employee Relations Manager to join their well-established and structured HR function. They operate with pride, purpose and impact - maintaining an inclusive and supportive reputation in the market.
Description
Reporting to their Head of HR & Capability, your duties will include, but not limited to;
- Supervision of 8 ER Advisors within the direct team
- Overseeing the entire performance management function for the organisation including hands-on support for senior matters, along with offering escalation support to the team
- Mentor and coach colleagues on disciplinary matters, investigation processes, outcome procedures
- Generalist HR / ER Advice and support to the wider HR function
- Develop and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders
- Liaise with regional and operational teams to provide guidance and expertise
- Assist the wider function with initiatives to help improve culture and performance
- Interpret all relevant modern awards, enterprise agreements, legislation and regulations
Profile
As an ideal applicant, you will have;
- Proven HR Management experience within a medium to large workforce
- Outstanding organisation skills and attention to detail
- Tertiary qualified, ideally within Human Resources or Business
- Excellent leadership skills, with demonstrated experience coaching and developing teams
- Strong operational HR Generalist experience, with a dedicated focus on Employee Relations
- Accurate awareness and understanding of Australian legislation and regulations
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral, coupled with a proactive and positive attitude
