The Employment and Education Program Manager is responsible for the management, oversight and achievement of significant outcomes in the delivery of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) programs and other related programs.
Reporting to the Program Manager, Primary Clinical Services you will:
Lead and drive a stable, strong and high performing team of Employment and Education Specialists to be the provider of choice and provide quality support and services to young people with mental ill-health.
Coordinate the youth IPS program and related programs across Orygen’s clinical programs.
Manage quality and compliance of programs, including develop data framework to monitor, analyse and report on program success and trends in youth employment, education and training in a timely manner.
Build and maintain strategic and collaborative relationships and partnership opportunities with key external stakeholders and partners for strategic growth opportunities.
Travel across Orygen’s five headspace sites (Craigieburn, Glenroy, Melton, Sunshine and Werribee) will be required.
What you’ll need
You are passionate, energetic and determined to make a difference to health and wellbeing outcomes for young people. The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in the area of education, youth, community services or a related field.
Eligible for membership to the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA) or certificate IV in Training and Assessment are desirable.
Demonstrated high level knowledge and understanding of youth mental health and practice in the areas of education, employment and disadvantage among young people in the Australian context.
Knowledge and understanding of issues that impact young people when accessing employment and/or educational opportunities.
What you’ll get in return
Salary between $95,000 - $110,000 commensurate with skills and experience + 10.5% super + NFP salary packaging up to $15,900 + personal use car.
