(HEO7) $95,017 - $106,270 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Full time, fixed term contract until December 2025.

The Graduate Employment Consultant will develop and deliver targeted interventions to identify and support recent graduates seeking employment outcomes, contributing to the strategic goals of the University. This includes analysing University and QILT Survey data, identifying graduates and supporting them to develop career management skills and source, compete for and secure graduate employment outcomes.

This position is part of the Student Experience branch, responsible for providing services that deliver an excellent student experience. This includes administrative and support services to students as well as service to, and partnership with, academic staff in the development of a high-quality, engaging and relevant learning environment.

To be successful you will need:

  • Experience in the provision of coaching or experience in the selection and recruitment of candidates.
  • Proven experience in utilising a case management approach to support individuals in competing for employment.
  • Knowledge of early career labour market landscape and current processes in graduate recruitment.
  • Experience in effectively managing projects including competing deadlines, prioritisation of activities and formal reporting including data visualisation.
  • Proven ability to engage with a range of graduates including those with additional barriers to employment.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations.
