Experience the rewards of making a difference in someone’s life by showing them compassion and care.We currently have opportunities for experienced aged care nurses to join our team in providing essential nursing care and support to residents in accordance with Royal Freemasons's Charter of Conduct, Aged Care Code of Conduct and the Aged Quality Quality Standards
Key requirements:- Ensure consumers are offered choice which is encouraged to promote their independence
- Ensure all consumers, their families and staff are treated with respect and dignity
- Complete assessments, documentation and care planning
- Accurately dispense prescribed medications
- Conduct wound assessments, dressing and notify Clinical Care team for reviews
- Appropriately consult with physicians and refer consumers to Allied Health professionals
- Complete assigned personal hygiene and direct resident care
- Meeting required Aged Care Quality Standards, compliance with all policies and procedures
- Guide and manage staff to deliver a leading aged care service that enhances the consumer’ experience
- Current registration as a Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered though the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation and Quality Care Standards
- You will have a positive attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
