Casual positions available - Caladenia Nursing Home
Kilmore District Health (KDH) provides a variety of health and aged care services. Inpatient and outpatient services are offered to the community of Kilmore and district including maternity, medical, surgical, and subacute care. The hospital has 30 Acute beds, 2 Operating suites, a four-bay Urgent Care Centre and a District Nursing Service. Aged Care includes a 30 Bed High Care facility and a 30 Bed Low Care Facility.
We are currently looking for highly motivated Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with strong clinical, interpersonal, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to join our Aged Care team.
You will play a pivotal role in providing not only quality healthcare but also the quality of life for our residents deserve. You will join a workforce that promotes a collaboratively atmosphere which focuses on learning, teamwork, safety and resident centered care.
To be successful within this role you will need to possess:
Current nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
Extensive clinical skills and experience
Previous experience in Aged Care is highly desirable but not essential
Demonstrated ability to be an effective role model in the area of clinical practice
Sound understanding of contemporary Human Resources Management practices
Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others
Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills
Sound Computer skills
