AddressCurrumbin Clinic is a 104-bed private mental health hospital located on the Southern Gold Coast, delivering high quality care and positive patient outcomes.
We have a team of dedicated Psychiatrists, Medical, Nursing, Allied and Administrative staff who provide expert care in the management and treatment of all acute mental health disorders.
About the Role:
Due to our continued growth and excellence in the mental health sector, we are currently seeking motivated and experienced Endorsed Enrolled Nurses at Currumbin Clinic on a casual/permanent part-time basis.
Qualifications:
- Registration with Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (Mandatory);
- Completion of or working towards tertiary qualifications specific to mental health (Desirable)
Required Personal Competencies:
- Three (3) years mental health nursing experience;
- Awareness and practice of legislation affecting nursing practice and health care;
- Strong focus on patient centred, evidence-based nursing care;
- Able to conduct a comprehensive and systematic nursing assessment;
- Demonstrated high standards of professional and ethical practice;
- Excellent collaboration and consultation skills with individuals, groups, significant others and the multidisciplinary health care team;
- Focus on service improvement and ongoing professional development for delivery of excellent patient care and positive health outcomes;
- Promotes safety, security and personal integrity in the workplace.
Desirable Personal Competencies
- Experience and an understanding of alcohol and other drugs detoxification principles.
Pre-Employment Screening:
- To ensure the quality and safety for our patients, staff and visitors, applicants will be required to provide before commencement a National Police Check.
- It is also mandatory by Aurora that all employees in the Private Health sector are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza;
- You will also be required to provide current serology for vaccinations including Hep B, Dtpa, MMR and varicella;
- A current police check (dated within the last three months).
