Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated Graduate Civil Engineer who is passionate about contributing to the development of innovative civil construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, ranging from carparks, sports facilities to road and bridge construction.
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of bill of quantities and estimates for tendering.
• Managing on-site construction activities.
• Procuring materials for construction works such as drainage pits, pipes, crushed rock, asphalt, etc.
• Managing quality assurance and quality control by examination of civil engineering construction
• Works to ensure compliance of finished works with relevant specifications, contract scope and standards.
• Preparing Inspection and test plans for quality assurance of civil engineering works and liaising with relevant authorities, site personnel and client regarding quality control of construction activities.
• Checking construction works and organizing and supervising maintenance and repair works.
• Set out and inspection of construction works using surveying tools such as GPS Rover, Total Station, Laser, etc.
• Estimation of costs as a result of variations during construction phase and liaising with clients regarding these costs.
• Conduct and organize field testing for Quality Assurance.
• Assisting Project Manager and Estimator in day-to-day tasks.
