We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Engineer to drive projects from inception to completion; planning and scheduling of all activities, supervising and coordinating all resources for both internal and external contractors and site reports.
About the Role
Your initial responsibilities will include:
- Lead and supervise project activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, and other stakeholders to interpret design specifications and translate them into actionable plans.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation
- Ensure compliance of the works with technical specifications, applicable legislation, approvals and standards.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation, driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness in project execution.
- Foster a culture of safety and excellence onsite
- Promote Goldsmith values and culture within the project team.
About you
To be considered for this role the successful applicant must have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- A demonstrated ability to manage large scale, self-performed, bulk earthworks.
- Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid working rights in Australia
