Engineer - Level 1

Your new company 
Our client is one of the largest water distributors/retailers in Australia. They are owned by five shareholding councils. Moreover, they are providing services to 1. 5 million residents. They are seeking an engineer who can analyse asset performance and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and safe drinking water requirements.
Your new role 
Your main responsibility is to analyse asset performance, determine poor reliability, root-causing issues, and identify solutions.
Other responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of and implementing feasibility testing of proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design
• Contribute to the analysis of information, the specification of the methods, process steps, and the plant, machinery and equipment required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems, to deliver the end product within specified cost and quality parameters
• Carry out inspections under the supervision of senior colleagues to evaluate the quality of engineering works and / or the integrity of existing installations or structures, and make recommendations to senior colleagues on the remedial works needed to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements

What you'll need to succeed 
Ideally, you have experience in a similar role or proven technical experience in operational engineering. Moreover, you have the ability to provide technical support functions on water and sewerage programs, including experience contributing to effective operational and asset management outcomes.
Other requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering from a recognised institution
• Drivers' licence
• Stakeholder engagement and data analysis skills
