Stockwell Design and Construction is seeking a construction Site Engineer to lead the daily planning, co-ordination and quality delivery operations on this new Design and Construct project located in West End.
Another successful Stockwell multi-residential development requires a motivated and dedicated Site Engineer to join our team. Your involvement will have a direct impact on the smooth running and quality outcome of the project and will enable you to widen your existing knowledge and experience.
Stockwell has a rich history of construction and development spanning over 72 years. Stockwell Design and Construction has a pipeline of work in residential, commercial, retail and leisure projects throughout Queensland.
Candidates from either an Engineering or Construction Management background. Candidates need to be experienced in site and precast concrete works, ideally on residential high-rise projects. You will need to be driven, strategic and enthusiastic with a sound knowledge of current building/engineering practices.

The role of the Site Engineer requires:
- Working as part of the Stockwell project team to achieve the standard of quality agreed with the client and as required by relevant codes, standards, and guidelines.
- Coordinating the design with the Design Project Manager.
- Ensuring the project is delivered in accordance with the designs, statutory approvals, and Principal Project Requirements (PPR).
- Ensuring that Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s), checklists, methodologies and procedures are prepared, reviewed, approved, and updated as required.
- Schedule and facilitate inspections in accordance with ITP’s and procedures, pre-pour inspections, structural sign offs and internal finishes.
- Responsibility for site logistics, deliveries and major plant movements.
- Schedule and document meetings prior to these works taking place.
- Undertaking defect inspections and record information utilising the Procore Defect module.
- Notifying all relevant subcontractors and suppliers of any identified defects.
- Issue non-conformance reports (NCR’s) to subcontractors or suppliers as required.
- Attend weekly subcontractor site co-ordination meetings.
- Report daily / weekly to the Project Manager and Site Manager highlighting areas of concern/problems and solutions affecting project delivery.
