Our client are innovators, developing new sustainable packaging with a team of research scientists, engineers, and production experts. They are a small team & going growing quickly.
This is a full-time, afternoon shift permanent position based in Braeside.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and operate a state-of-the-art German-engineered thermoforming production line.
- Some operating with HMI control systems (Siemens).
- Some shift work may be required, occasionally (2pm - 10pm)
Qualifications and Experience Required:
To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be passionate and driven to succeed in a manufacturing environment, and with your strong mechanical aptitude, you will be part of identifying problems and implementing the solutions! Along with this, you will have the following:
- Mechanical Engineering or Fitter and Turner background
- Some robotics (Kuka) is required, although training will be provided for this.
- A can-do and flexible attitude.
- Knowledge of thermoforming is an advantage.
- Familiarity with packaging manufacture.
