Position Title: Full-time Production and Maintenance Engineer
Salary: range $70,000-$80,000 + Superannuation

Required Skills and Experience:
Previous experience& working knowledge & maintenance experience in troubleshooting Mechanical, Electronic Operation of Weinig Powerlock Moulders and Unimat moulders and Weinig Powercom System.
• Previous working experience & maintenance experience in troubleshooting Mechanical, Penumatic, Electronic Operations in End matchers, Wide Belt Sanders, Weinig Multi Gang Rip Saws
• Previous working experience & maintenance experience in troubleshooting Mechanical, Pneumatic, Electronic Operations in Fully automatic Robotic Rotary Clamping Systems (James L Taylor)
• Previous Working Experience & maintenance experience in troubleshooting Mechanical, Electronic Operation Ceetec Brush Coating Systems, Makor Iride Spray Lines, Vacuum Coaters, Makor Inline Sanders and Makor Material Handling Equipment
• Previous Maintenance Experience with Large scale industrial Scale dust extraction systems
Key Accountabilities:
Assist in installations and commissioning of plant machinery and Control systems and upgrading in-house developed production machinery with respect to functionality, safe by design, fabrication and control systems.
• Attending Routine Maintenance & Breakdown maintenance of all plant machinery.
• Carry out preliminary production runs by setting up machinery and achieving expected quality and Production speeds.
• Defining Quality Specifications with respect to machinery and products.
• Listing and maintaining critical spare parts for production machinery and coordinating with equipment.
• Maintaining listed and preferred suppliers.
• Conducting Machine operating condition audits and safety audits.
• Development of downtime monitoring system for plant machinery with both machine base and remote monitoring.
• Assist in trial and Bulk and production runs.
OHS Responsibilities:
• Periodic safety audits on machine safety systems for faults in sensory and Control systems and
maintaining Records.
• Upgrading outdated/deemed insufficient safety systems in machinery.
• Assist in Risk assessment of plant machinery.
• Assist in developing work instructions for plant machinery.
• Generating machinery Lockout release requests after breakdown maintenance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Engineering mechanical or Electronics Engineering
• Certification in wood machining or Experience in wood machining
• Basic programming experience in Allen-Bradley PLC
• OH&S experience with respect to onsite risk assessments and Active Safety systems in machinery
