What you’ll do:
- Provide technical advice on complex geotechnical issues to clients and internal staff and deliver best practice consulting services
- Use advanced techniques, modifications and extension of theories, practices to synthesise and analyse data for decision making/ recommendations
- Build reputation as an expert Consultant. Participate in industry groups as part of maintaining high industry profile
- Manage, analyse and carry out geotechnical reporting for projects
- Cultivate existing and new client relationships and undertake proactive business development activities
- Keep abreast of advancing technologies, methods and research & development
- Prepare tenders, proposals and reports for clients; and
- Guide, participate and support stakeholder engagement activities
About you:
- Typically 3-5 years experience in geotechnical engineering
- A successful track record in undertaking and managing field investigations for small to large size geotechnical projects
- Track record of promoting innovation in the field of geotechnical engineering to create value for clients/ projects
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation / review of written technical reports and client communications
- Demonstrated experience in geotechnical design including rock/soil/structure interaction
- A civil engineering or engineering geology degree
- Post graduate qualifications in a geotechnical related field will be considered favourably
- A strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Ability to take responsibility for geotechnical design delivery in multidisciplinary environment
