Skillinvest has an opportunity for a motivated candidate to undertake an Engineering Fabrication Apprenticeship with a leading steel fabrication business located in Dandenong South.The successful applicant will study a 'Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Mechanical Trade' whilst gaining valuable on the job experience.
Duties Include:
- Operating and be trained in several types of cutting machinery.
- Measuring, drilling, and cutting medium sized steel into varied sizes.
- Widespread use of hand-tools
- Assisting the team and managers in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Cleaning materials after fabrication
Requirements:
- Willingness to commit to work and study.
- Initiative, proactivity, and a responsible attitude.
- Willing to work overtime.
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Be able to pass a police check
