We are hard-working, down to earth and passionate engineers and geologists providing quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis and design advice to the construction, infrastructure and energy sectors.
We are looking for an adventurous, practical and determined geologist to join our specialist in-situ testing team. This role is based in Sydney but involves traveling across Australia. The role is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who enjoys seeing new places and experiencing new things.
You will be helping recover and interpret geotechnical data for use in various sectors across the construction industry. You will lead the operation of our specialized Grizzly rig through a variety of tasks including dynamic probing (DPSH-B), windowless sampling and geotechnical auger drilling.
What You'll Need
A bachelor of science in Geology or Earth Science.
Full Australian work rights (which can be realised via certain Working Holiday VISAs)
Ability to complete strenuous fieldwork tasks
Ability to travel to remote locations for up to 3 weeks at a time
A full License and confidence driving manual 4x4 utes
A desire to work outside
A love of rocks, soil and geology
Good interpersonal skills
Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
