Opportunity with CMW Geosciences
Our team in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne is growing and as such we are looking to hire Project to Principal Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist or similar. In your role, you will be undertaking fieldwork, and being involved in some design and reporting of geotechnical projects with the support of senior personnel. This role is designed to develop your understanding as a Geotechnical Engineer and your practical application of engineering knowledge. You will work with the technical team, and as a consultant, you will be developing relationships with clients, specialist contractors other consultants and suppliers. Furthermore, your duties will include:
Working with the technical team to develop, provide and promote design solutions, options and initiatives to meet client needs
Undertake technical and non-technical tasks and take responsibility for the accuracy and quality of our work
Ensure that the projects are completed on time, within budget and to the desired quality standards
Maintaining good relationships with existing clients and working with the client relations/business development team to target new opportunities
To be eligible we are looking for the following:
Qualified Civil/Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist with 2+ years of experience working in a consulting engineering environment
Have proven experience when it comes to design delivery of complex projects
Demonstrated experience in undertaking and planning site investigation and geotechnical consulting projects
Good analytical skills and prior knowledge of geotechnical design software will be viewed favourably (Plaxis, Rocscience Slide, RSPile, Settle3, LimitState Geo etc.)?
Ability to use basic theoretical knowledge of engineering/engineering geology principles
Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail is a must
