AddressVectiq are looking for experienced Engineering Lead who will be responsible for leading the software engineering practices and the development community of our client across all of their multi-disciplinary teams to ensure quality and accelerate delivery.

Responsibilities
- Establish and grow the software engineering community / guild across our teams
- Provide hands-on coaching and support to assist the developers in the quality, consistency and craft of the engineering practices including, but not limited to:
o Automation testing
o ITSM processes
o Resilient engineering
o Continuous integration and continuous delivery
o Onboarding and maturing our development environment
- Facilitate the sharing and re-use of patterns, technology choices, approaches and code across product teams
- Proactively identify blockers impeding our developers to deliver, or for the teams to scale, and lead on their resolution
- Participate in the recruitment of technical team members across our product teams and for the wider department, as appropriate.
- Identify engineering practices that need to change and influence a diverse developer community to adopt those changes.
Demonstrated experience in:
- Influencing, guiding and uplifting engineering practices whilst considering delivery goals across multiple teams.
- Guiding strategies in test automation, DevOps, and reliable engineering.
- Improving engineering performance.
- Transitioning product development from project-based delivery to sustainment.
- Fostering a developer community.
- TypeScript, NodeJS, React, Azure, MS SQL, and ORMs such as Prisma.
- Advocating for software developers. For example, in ensuring they have the right tools.
- Developing contemporary resilient, maintainable and scalable web applications.
