So, with that in mind, we are looking for a new Engineering Manager to join our team of go-getters and realise the full value of their skills!What you'll do:
- Lead a team of engineers responsible for an integral part of Airtasker’s marketplace
- Working closely with our Engineering leadership team, contribute to the technical strategy and delivery of a core part of the Airtasker product across web, iOS and Android
- Be a key cross-functional partner to product, design and data
- Maintain accountability for the operational state of our systems
- Lead key projects and sprints, playing a core role in our long-lived product teams that navigate our Engineering roadmap into the future
- Drive a high performance and growth culture, ensuring technical excellence throughout delivery of team OKRs
- Be a strong advocate for the customer journey across our product, and effectively prioritise workloads within your team to drive commercial performance for Airtasker
- Take pleasure in leading people, empowering them to do great work and grow their capabilities
- Closely collaborate with Product, Data and Design leaders in your cross functional team and across the business
- An agnostic, hands on approach to software engineering with a serious passion for teaching your team new and emerging technologies
- Being firmly grounded in computer science and engineering fundamentals
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience
