We are putting out an Expression of Interest for a highly experienced Senior System Engineer with a strong background in Citrix to join our team in Richmond. We are exploring the recruitment of this position circa July 2024 and would like applicants to be aware of delayed timelines in reponses to applications.As a Senior System Engineer, you will be providing platform support services to our important customers in Australia and around the region. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering top-notch services and managing client infrastructure.You will be part of a team that supports a large fleet of Citrix/Virtualisation technology based issues, requests that are escalated to you by the customer and service desk team.Responsibilities
- Provide third level technical expertise and operational support for the infrastructure services related requests and issues predominantly with Citrix, Active Directory and Group Policy Management, Basic Networking, Microsoft Azure for Citrix Cloud
- Proactively engage customers to discuss strategy and tailor solutions to meet all necessary requirements.
- Be the final escalation point for such technical knowledge and expertise related enquiries and issues.
- Ensure escalations are resolved on a timely basis according to the SLA
- Lead workshops that identify trends and problems within customer environments
- Develop new solutions that improve our customer environments as value-add initiatives
- Develop permanent corrective fixes and deploy following appropriate change processes
- Document solutions and knowledge in Logicalis knowledge management system
- Mentors junior engineers to help develop their skills
