Your New Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Engineering Manager who are specialist with a background in engineering and fluent in Chinese to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will serve as an Engineering Manager, supporting external and internal terms in understanding the product from a engineer and project perspective, supporting clients with different size of projects and supporting companies to maintain relationship with industry governing boby and local grid networks.
What You Will Do:
- Consult and work with engineer team from our valuable clients, responsible for the development, and implementation of solar and renewable energy projects, including residential, commercial, and solar farm development.
- Communicate effectively with overseas manufacturers, particularly those in China, to discuss product designs, specifications, and compliance with local regulations.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. Bridge the gap between local regulatory requirements and overseas manufacturing standards to ensure compliance and seamless integration of solar products.
- Collaborate with internal teams including sales, procurement, and project management to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Facilitate product training sessions for internal teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects and features of solar products.
- Work closely with external stakeholders, including customers and regulatory bodies, to gather feedback and insights on product performance and user requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to solar energy systems.
- Provide input and support product development initiatives by identifying market opportunities, defining product requirements, and contributing to product roadmap planning.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges and obstacles.
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the engineering team, encouraging creativity and new ideas.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in solar and renewable energy, and incorporate relevant advancements into project designs and strategies.
Who You Are:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering management, with a focus in solar engineering, renewable energy, solar farm construction or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with solar energy systems, components, and installation practices and project management.
- Strong technical proficiency in solar energy systems, renewable energy technologies, and related engineering principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving innovation and sustainability in the renewable energy industry.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing the design and implementation of solar and renewable energy projects.
