Prepare, support, and oversee projects, from initial discovery and scoping through to integration into operational service, as part of Engineering’s role to provide solutions for firefighting equipment, PPC/PPE and firefighting appliances.
Key Accountabilities:
- Undertake discovery and scoping on appliances and equipment in order to identify critical activities, milestones, risks and budgets.
- Develop technical documentation, supporting the Next Generation Fleet program to ensure key objectives are completed to the agreed timeline.
- Coordinate and support stakeholder engagement sessions, and test and evaluation activities.
- Collaborate with Engineering procurement activities, to ensure they align to the approved timeline and scope.
- Contribute to the design, development, testing and evaluation of products and services across engineering categories, to ensure they are fit for purpose and aligned to statutory and legislative requirements.
- Developing specification documents
- Experience in broken down projects into 45 sub projects.
- Experience managing the processes and the project development specifications.
- Experience Developing technical specifications for equipment, electrical items.
- Have worked on Verification and Validation through testing.
- Experience Work with 3rd party designers.
- Verification & Validation experience.
- Demonstrated experience through small appliances or equipment for trains.
- A proven ability to work autonomously.
- Experience in the development and design of technical specifications
- Experience in projects from initial scoping through to delivery.
