As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Surveyor / Survey Technician to join our FIFO team.
About the role:
As an Engineering Surveyor / Survey Technician at Tenardi Civil we are seeking a candidate who is a self-starter with a good understanding of Concrete Construction Works. Reporting directly to the Survey Manager, the candidate will support the successful delivery of all surveying operations in a reliable and a timely manner ensuring that it meets the needs of the various projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting field surveys using Total Stations, GPS, and other surveying equipment.
- Assisting with Concrete and Formwork Setout, Earthworks Monitoring, Machine Control, As-constructed Surveys, and other surveying activities.
- Collecting and processing field data using surveying software and CAD programs.
- Performing calculations and preparing survey drawings, and reports.
- Read and Interpret plans and construction drawings.
- Maintaining and calibrating surveying equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
About You:
- Permanent Australian Residency
- Relevant Survey qualification (Cert 4, Diploma or higher) or;
- At least 3 years Australian experience in construction Surveying
- Proficiency in operating surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors.
- Familiarity with surveying software and CAD programs.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.
