About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Technologist to lead a variety of multi-disciplinary projects including commercial & industrial works. You are required to assist in ongoing and future engineering projects which include planning and design, implementation and installation using diverse engineering technologies.

Hours of work: 38 hours per week
Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 + Guaranteed Superannuation
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Evaluate system adjustments requested clients, engineers, managers and technicians.
• Assists in developing new telecommunications standards, including commissioning design, and maintenance with external consultants as needed.
• Coordinates with external consultants to provide project managers with preliminary telecommunications scope, estimates and specifications as needed.
• Create technical drawings for new technology, including updating external ground dimensions and creating internal floor plans for recommended service installation.
• Provide technical expertise, analysis and support for managing the communications network in line with OLAs and service agreement.
• Suggesting and addressing flaws and necessary adjustments to existing technology with the appraiser and field supervisors.
• Assist Project Managers by assessing bidders for telecommunications against defined standards.
• Conducts communications site audits as assigned by project managers. Conducts telecoms design reviews as assigned by Project Managers.
• Ensure network security compliance with technical requirements, regulations, and legislation certification.
Qualifications, Education, Experience, and Skill Required:
Qualifications/Education: Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering or higher qualification.
Experience/ Knowledge:
At least 3 years of relevant experience as an Engineering Technologist.
