Kimberley College is an independent, co-educational and non-denominational, Prep to Year 12 school nestled in a picturesque, semi-rural setting in Brisbane's Bayside.
Kimberley College is seeking to appoint a secondary English and Humanities teacher. The successful applicant will be required to teach English and History to Year 12.
This is a One Year Parental Leave contract role to commence in Term 3 2024.

The successful candidate will have high expectations for learning growth of all students, demonstrate a commitment to excellence in practice, use a range of pedagogies, provide timely feedback to students and have the ability to establish and maintain a positive and productive classroom-learning environment.
Essential criteria:
- Qualifications and demonstrated ability to teach to the specified requirements of the position
- Demonstrated capacity in classroom management
- Capacity to operate as a collaborative and team-oriented person in a professional work environment
- Capacity and willingness to contribute to the welfare of students
- Understanding of and commitment to the ethos of independent schooling
- Capacity and willingness to contribute to the School’s co-curricular program
- Capacity in the teaching of higher-order thinking
