Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will be given an ongoing position, with the Position of Leadership for the remainder of 2024. The successful applicant will be encouraged to apply for the POL in 2025/26 when it is readvertised.
You will be required to fulfil the duties outlined in the attached Position of Leadership role description, as well as having the following qualities.
* be committed to the values and traditions of our Catholic faith
* be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (or be willing to undertake such study).
* be a team player with a willingness to collaborate to support teachers to create exciting and engaging "hands on" learning experiences
* share our understanding that all students can learn given the right conditions and levels of support
* be committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children, and be familiar with expectations outlined in the "Child Safety and Wellbeing" document found on our school website
Special Requirements (to be noted in CV)
- relevant teaching qualifications, including further study if applicable
- VIT registration
- the contact details of 3 referees, including a current employer
