English Teacher - Job tasks and responsibilities
Face-to-face/online delivery of English training and assessment for overseas and domestic students (CSWE certificate courses).
Maintain training and assessment materials, participate in industry networking events and assessment validation workshops.
Conduct and record student assessments.
Participate in moderation and quality control workshops.
Monitor learner and assessment process and provide student learning support.
Provide maintenance of all aspects of compliance relating to areas of responsibility.
Skills and experience
A recognized postgraduate TESOL qualification
OR
A Bachelor of Education with a TESOL major or equivalent that includes a practicum.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).
Possesses at least two years' experience in teaching English to non-English speaking students (desired but not essential).
Strong knowledge of EAL/CSWE curriculum.
Maintain continuing professional development in teaching English for non-English speaking students training, curriculum, and the related and moderation processes activities.
Excellent presentation skills; including a positive and professional work manner.
