AIIC is an independent co-educational Islamic school for local and international students from Kindergarten to Year 12. We provide a supportive school environment, where students, families and our staff feel safe to learn and grow together.
With a dynamic new leadership, and continuing growth in enrolments, We are currently seeking passionate Secondary school teachers listed below, to continue providing quality teaching and learning, through explicitly teaching the Australian Curriculum.

- Health and Physical Education Teacher
The College is considering applicants for potential leadership positions.
The skills and experience required for the position:
Hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
Hold a relevant recognised Teaching degree
Possess current knowledge of effective pedagogy
Have a responsive classroom management approach
Be eager to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers in a professional learning community
Be able to creatively use ICT to enhance a rich learning environment
Possess a passion and enthusiasm to enrich children’s learning
Duties will include
- Planning and implementation of a responsive early years curriculum
- Managing classroom routines and procedures
- Reporting on student progress to parent and relevant stakeholders
- Differentiating the curriculum to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Facilitating and supporting faith-based lessons delivered by skilled staff
- Attending meetings as required
