Due to internal promotion, we have an opportunity for a Secondary Teacher (internally known as Team Leader) to join our Brisbane School in a permanent full-time capacity.
The focus of this role is on the delivery of Essential English and QCAA short course literacy. It also plays a vital role in supporting AITC young people to achieve their goal of attaining aq QCE and a career pathway in industry.
However, expressions of interest from other subject areas particularly Maths, Science, and VET are also encouraged so that we can connect with you as opportunities arise.
Key outcomes include:
- Provide students with practical experience and learning related to a future career path in their chosen industry field
- Contribute to a collaborative culture of continuous improvement utilising industry and young person feedback to design, implement and evaluate an industry curriculum for quality teaching and learning outcomes
- Deliver curriculum content that reflects contemporary industry practices, to improve the education and employability outcomes of our young people
- Enhance the well-being and holistic character development of our young people through a solution-focused goal orientated approach

Required qualifications:
- A Bachelor degree or higher.
- Current QCT Registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration.
- A current driver's licence.
- Right to Work in Australia.
