Enhanced Maternal And Child Health Nurse

• One day per week to be negotiated with successful applicant
• Working with the Early Childhood Health team in Port Fairy

Moyne Shire Council are seeking a suitable experienced Maternal and Child Health Nurse to work one day a week within our Enhanced MCHN Service.

To be successful in this role you will need
Qualifications
Essential

• Current registration as both a registered nurse and midwife on the AHPRA register.
• Post graduate diploma/masters in child and family health nursing.
• Driver license valid in Victoria
• Employee working with children check

Experience
Essential

Extensive knowledge of the Maternal and Child Health service, and demonstrated understanding of current service guidelines and practices.

Key selection criteria 1

Demonstrate the ability to establish an effective working rapport and positive relationships with a wide range of families.

Key selection criteria 2

Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member of a multi disciplinary team as well as working independently.

Key selection criteria 3

Knowledge of, and experience in working with high risk families and providing targeted actions, interventions and / or supports to improve outcomes.
