Our rural-based multidisciplinary facilities cover primary health, child and family health, community mental health, and alcohol and drug services. Some facilities also offer emergency, acute care, aged care, and allied health. Working under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse you’ll support and provide quality care for patients. Where you’ll be working: Nyngan is situated by the Bogan River on the eastern edge of the Great Outback, 583 kilometers northwest of Sydney and less than a two-hour drive from the major city of Dubbo, home to the famous Taronga Western Plains Zoo.
The Nyngan Multipurpose Service (MPS) is a 42-bed facility offering both acute and residential aged care services. Nyngan MPS has 24-hour emergency care, palliative care, renal dialysis and a range of ambulatory care and primary and community health services.
