SalaryOur client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Enrolled Nurse with a passion for patient care and excellent interpersonal skills to join their team.
Part-time hours may also be considered.
About the Role
The duties and responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Contributing to the formulation of care plans for patients in collaboration with the Doctor.
- Providing direct nursing care to patients, including changing bandages, and charting patient progress over time.
- Preparing equipment and supplies for surgery as required.
- Monitoring patients’ conditions to ensure that they are safe and comfortable.
- Explaining procedures to patients, their families, and other health care providers.
- Educating patients on health issues, such as diet, exercise, stress management, and disease prevention.
About You
- Working knowledge of the Practice Management software Genie.
- Completed Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing.
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills.
- Thoroughness and attention to detail.
- In-depth understanding of the principles of nursing care.
