AddressBelmore Road Medical Centre is a busy private-billing general practice, located in Balwyn, with a friendly work environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and time management skills, be well presented and committed to maintaining a clean harmonious work environment. Must be fully vaccinated against Covid 19 (3 doses) and in possession of current CPR certification. Permanent Full or part-time role available for suitable candidates. Must be experienced.
Your daily tasks would include:
- Welcoming patients and visitors, answering the telephone and answering any enquiries
- Scheduling appointments appropriate for patients needs
- Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and documentation, as well as ensuring that all information acquired is accurate and current
- Keeping a clean, calm and collected reception area
- Processing bill procedures and payments
- Faxing, scanning, filing, and mailing
- Comforting distressed patients – this may range from simply fixing any appointment issues that may arise, through to being the voice of comfort during times of extreme stress and emergency.
- Monitoring and ordering stationery and clinical supplies to maintain a working supply at all times
- Maintaining information confidentiality at all times.
- Good knowledge with Best Practice software is preferable.
- Ensuring consulting rooms are tidy, ready and stocked for the GP's needs
- Understanding and implementing "Opening" and “Closing” protocols if rostered to do so
