The purpose of this role is to provide evidence-based consumer/person focused care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife, in collaboration with the interprofessional health care team to facilitate optimal health outcomes for the recipients of healthcare services and undertake delegated activities while assuming individual accountability for actions within the position and context of practice.
This role will assist in the management of patient referrals with a valid endoscopy procedure request who are registered on the TPCH Endoscopy waitlist as per the principles of the Queensland Health Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Services Implementation Standard.
