AddressEnrolled Nurse – Endoscopy Unit
Mater Private Hospital Redlands is currently seeking applications for Enrolled Nurses to join the Endoscopy team. The successful candidate will be offered Permanent Part Timeemployment at 32hours a week, where you will be required to work across a rotating roster.
The Endoscopy Unit is a dedicated area caring for people through their surgery journey. The highly skilled and passionate staff provide outstanding patient-centred care to people recovering from relatively minor through to the more complex procedures.
Salary range: $34.84 - $37.10 (Enrolled Nurse) per hour + casual loading+ superannuation + NFP Salary Packaging up to $15,900
What you’ll be doing
Based in the Endoscopy Unit, this role will see you provide care for patients within general surgical areas. As an integral team member, you will support the general function of the unit using best practice principles and education whilst drawing upon your extensive surgical experience.
- Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care
- Demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding care
- Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
- Working collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care
- Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
About you
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration (without restriction)
- Experience as an Enrolled Nurse in an acute hospital setting (1-2 years post graduate)
- Flexibility to perform in various wards, adaptability to seamlessly integrate into different teams and work under different NUMs
- Commitment to excellence in nursing practice and professional development
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems
