About the Role
The Rehabilitation Unit at John Flynn Hospital comprises of 57 private rooms, a well-equipped gym and an activities area. Our Unit offers a range of comprehensive in-patient programs including neurological, falls prevention, orthopaedic, reconditioning and amputee specialities. We practice a multidisciplinary approach to health care, involving patient, family, team members and allied health professionals to achieve the best outcome possible.
As an Enrolled Nurse you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered within the ward. You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, coordination and evaluation of patients. Our aim is to help each patient optimise his or her health and functional independence.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be a positive and effective team player with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be dedicated to providing patient focused care.
You will also demonstrate:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse
- You will be medication endorsed and IV qualified
- Post graduate experience in an acute hospital setting is desirable but not essential
- Experience in a Rehabilitation Unit desirable but not essential
- Demonstrates excellent time management and organisational skills
Remuneration
$34.57 - $38.61 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD EEN level 1-2 gr1-gr6) [FTE $68,310.32 – $76,293.36]
