Community and Oral Health Services are looking for several Casual Enrolled Nurses to join their team. This team provides a range of population and patient centred strategies with the aim of supporting patients to receive healthcare in their own home or community. The role is with Redland Residential Care (RRC) which comprises four separate units co-located on the Redland Hospital site at Cleveland. All units may house permanent residents who are also participants of NDIS. The Enrolled Nurse (EN) practices under direct and/or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

About the Role
The Enrolled Nurse (EN) practices under direct and/or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN); utilising clinical skills to provide evidence-based person-centred care within Redland Residential Care. The EN consolidates knowledge and skills moving from beginner to experienced, applying their depth of knowledge and competence to effectively develop, provide and evaluate resident care, with regular communication and/or assistance from the Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrate appropriate planning and coordination skills in aged care clinical care delivery.
- Responsible for completing required documentation and becoming a proficient user of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and other Information Technology systems; once proficient remain current with changes, updates and contingencies.
- Demonstrate a commitment to increase knowledge, skills and competencies through contributing to quality healthcare, through lifelong learning and professional development of self and others.
- Participate with other members of the Redland Residential Care team in providing support, orientation, and mentorship to the healthcare team, including new and less experienced staff.
