About the role
Under the NUM, the EN will work with the nursing team to provide nursing care to patients within the clinics such as but not limited to complex wound care, and plaster care and management
- Attend to the clinical needs of the patient, including nursing assessment, dressings, post op wound care
- The ability to develop a good working relationship with clerical, medical and allied health staff in clinics
Classifications for the EN position will range from IB68 - IB72 ($66,856 - $71,141 per annum per annum)
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Certificate IV in nursing or Diploma in Nursing which meets the requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia inclusive of the administration of medication
- Current Registration with the Nursing and midwifery Board of Australia through AHPRA

Specialist clinics provide over 90,000 non admitted patient appointments per year across 20 different medical and surgical specialties, and receive 26,000 new referrals per annum. Specialist clinics provide a gateway to the hospital for patients requiring elective surgery and ongoing chronic disease management. Our major referral base is via General Practitioners from all areas of Victoria.
