Our client is a long-established and well-respected hospital that provides health care facility to the community and district serving a population base of approximately 4,000. They are one of the largest health facilities, providing a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services, aged care, specialist clinics, community programs and telehealth services.

Role Summary
The Enrolled Nurse is responsible under the direction of a registered nurse, for the provision of consumer-focused holistic nursing care to those assigned to him/her, to achieve desired clinical outcomes. Specifically, in the following:
- To provide quality consumer care using an evidence-based approach in consultation with the registered nurse and other members of the health care team
- Work collaboratively with care service employees to provide quality clinical and care services in accordance with organization policies and procedures, ANMC Code of Ethics, Code of Professional Conduct and common law affecting nursing practice.
- To remain accountable in providing delegated nursing care.
Responsibilities
- Practice in accordance with own competency level and the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council (ANMC) National Competency Standards for the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice.
- Establish and maintain effective communication within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure consumers receive quality ongoing care.
- Ensures all work is completed accurately on time and in accordance with organizations policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of teamwork, including the ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
Knowledge and skills
- Understanding of the organizations Injury Management Program, relevant MH OH&S management system, Policies and Procedures.
- Effective reporting, documentation skills and comprehensive professional development portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with National Framework for Decision Making by Nurses and Midwives on scopes of practice (National DMF).
- Understanding of AN-ANMC Care Minute requirements
Qualifications
- Current APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Completed a minimum of two MBA approved units of study for medicine administration.
- Maintain annual registration requirements and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) standards outlined by AHPRA through participation in relevant educational programs.
- Current unencumbered Victorian Motor Vehicle License (or equivalent).

- Within the range of $60K-70K annually
