About the roleAn exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and motivated Enrolled Nurse to join the General Medical ward at the Mater Hospital Brisbane on ward 9A. This role will be offered on a permanent part time basis (from 24 hours a week - 32 hours a week).Ward 9A is a 27-bed multidisciplinary ward which cares primarily for older public patients, encompassing a diverse range of specialties including Cardiac, Respiratory, Endocrine, Dermatology and infectious conditions. As part of Mater Health's recent expansion, we now provide a renal dialysis service, leading to a subsequent increase in the renal inpatient service.It is a requirement of the position that you are able to work a rotating roster including mornings, afternoons, nights and weekend shifts.Salary range: $34.84 - $40.19 (Enrolled Nurse - Enrolled Nurse Advanced Practice) per hour plus superannuation and salary packagingWhat you'll be doingWe are searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated Enrolled Nurse to continue to provide clinical expertise in a dignified and respectful manner, working closely with patients and their families to ensure a sensitive, welcoming and friendly environment at all times, whilst providing optimal patient outcomes.About youThe successful candidates must have:

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (no restrictions)
• Considerable Acute Nursing experience, preferably in a medical environment
• High level of communication skill including the ability to relate with elder patients in a dignified and respectful manner
• The ability to contribute effectively and efficiently within a busy, multidisciplinary team environment
