The Role
We are currently seeking a qualified and patient-focused Enrolled Nurse (EN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to work on a casual basis at our wonderful Darling Downs Skin Cancer Centre.
This position entails approximately 1-2 days per week. The successful candidate must be available on Fridays and have the flexibility to cover sick and annual leave. Our current operating hours are from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
As a nurse in our practice, you may be responsible for:
- Wound care and management
- Removal of Sutures
- Surgical assistance to our clinicians with excision and graft procedures
- Sterilisation of instruments
- Stock control
Qualifications & Attributes:
- Qualified EN or RN
- Customer-focused with a commitment to prioritising patient care
- Proactive approach to process improvement
- Strong team player contributing to a positive work culture
- Approachable, reliable and dependable
- Authorised to work in Australia
- Current National Police Certificate
