About the role
The Enrolled Nurse works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and assists in the provision of safe, evidence based, person centred nursing care in line with the policies, procedures and standards of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and other statutory authorities.
If you have/are:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2)
- Demonstrated recent experience in medical/surgical nursing
- Demonstrated understanding of team nursing and ability to work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary health care team
- Demonstrated effective communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of quality improvement, person centred care and evidence based practice
- Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to practice in accordance with legislation, policies and within the scope of practice for an Enrolled Nurse
- Availability and capacity to participate in a 24 hour/seven day rotating roster which includes working all shifts, all days of the week including public holidays
