About ABC Audiences
ABC Audiences is made up of a passionate group of strategy, marketing, brand, creative, audience experience, UX and audience insights specialists who have audiences at the heart of all they do. They're responsible for leading the ABC’s brand and audience strategies, acquiring and engaging audiences both within our broadcast and digital ecosystems and working collaboratively with partner divisions to lead an integrated approach to Social Media audience insights, branding, acquisition and retention strategies, and communication.
About the Role
Are you passionate about Social Media and ready to make a big impact? The ABC's Social Media Strategy Team is on the lookout for a Social Media Strategist. Broadly, this new senior role will lead the implementation an ABC wide Social Media strategy by leveraging expertise platforms, project management, tools and analytics. The top line of what you'll do in this role:
- Be a Social Media expert with deep knowledge of Social Media platforms that drives learnings and insights across the organisation.
- Lead the overall measurement of the ABC Social Media strategy and maintain a deep understanding of the performance of ABC Social Media platforms.
- Project management, including scoping, discovery, execution and post project evaluation/reporting.
- Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, key platform partners, and vendors.
About You
What skills and experience you'll bring to this role:
- Accomplished Social Media Expert: Extensive experience developing and implementing Social Media strategy in complex organisations.
- Project Management Expert: Proven track record in leading end-to-end projects, specifically in the Social Media/digital space.
- A+ Communication: Clear, compelling communicator who is able to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated Leadership: Passion for mentoring, influencing and driving team success.
